Answer:
An eighth note or a quaver is a musical note played for one eighth the duration of a whole note.
I think is is the second one
You click on window and click on layers so that it brings up the layers box.
Then you click on the icon that looks like a little square with a corner tucked up and it should create a new layer. :)
