List two ways the Declaration of Independence was an effective argumentative writing piece.

Answer:

The reason why the Declaration of Independence is so persuasive is that Jefferson uses deductive arguments, which includes examples of Britain’s wrong doings, which gives the person reading the document a chance to see exactly why they are breaking from Great Britain.  One of the strongest deductive arguments in the declaration is, “That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among men”.  This means that any legitimate government is created to protect peoples’ rights such as, “Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness”.  Throughout the declaration Jefferson shows how Great Britain is not protecting their rights, but interfering with them.  For example, he states how the king keeps sending over soldiers and expects the people to house and feed them.  How would you feel if the government just placed a stranger in your home and told you he could eat your hard-earned food?  These soldiers were also allowed to disobey the laws in the colonies and not be punished for them.  This is not what you call protecting peoples’ rights; it is more like invading them.  Another very strong deductive argument in this document is, “deriving their just power from the consent of the governed”.  This means any power or authority that a government has is given to them by the consent of the people, but this right like many others was abused too.  For instants, Jefferson wrote that they have “Petitioned for redress” repeatedly, meaning they sent many petitions to the king about many unfair problems in the colonies, wanting to come to some type of agreement.  Nevertheless, the king does not answer them but continues to hurt them.  This shows that the king did not care about the peoples’ consent; therefore, he is not implicating a just government and they have the right to break free from Great Britain.

Family: parents none, little sister Serah (18)

Live: Germany

page diary:

Us the Jewish belief in the resurrection of the dead . It is a religion that goes beyond the normal boundaries and reaches deep into daily life. "To be Jewish is to live a certain way before God, not to hold to a specific creed or confession "

Some laws we got to follow are:

A Minhag is a custom adopted as part of Jewish tradition. These traditions often relate to ritual practice, and can have a high degree of variability based on geographical origin and even familial practice. And another is the parts of Halacha are derived from interpretation or logical deductions of the text of the Torah, and handed down through the Oral Law. Often, this part of Halacha is decided through debates among scholars written down in the Talmud.

Rules we got to follow are:

Certain animals may not be eaten at all. This restriction includes the flesh, organs, eggs and milk of the forbidden animals.

Of the animals that may be eaten, the birds and mammals must be killed in accordance with Jewish law.

All blood must be drained from the meat or broiled out of it before it is eaten.

Certain parts of permitted animals may not be eaten.

Meat (the flesh of birds and mammals) cannot be eaten with dairy. Fish, eggs, fruits, vegetables and grains can be eaten with either meat or dairy. (According to some views, fish may not be eaten with meat).

Utensils that have come into contact with meat may not be used with dairy, and vice versa. Utensils that have come into contact with non-kosher food may not be used with kosher food. This applies only where the contact occurred while the food was hot.

Grape products made by non-Jews may not be eaten.

Restrictions we got to follow are:

There were many restrictions placed on the German Jews. . At first they were given a curfew, then they were forbidden form appearing in public, then they were made to wear the Star of David on their sleeves to be recognizable. They were forbidden from marrying German people. They were moved to ghettos where they would have to live without ever leaving them.

When the troops came to our neighborhood, many people were taken away from their homes or beat up. So many men's were taken by the soldiers and put into jail or forced to do labor work. Some of the people who protected there stuffs were killed and if we refused to help they would kill them.

As they entered my house I protected my sister they look everywhere and since we where minors without parents, they had to take one of us for labor work. At first I refuse to think about what happen to my parents since my father was taken away and never come back, I did not want my sister to see me leave and never come back, so I told the soldiers I would become a part of the army even if it goes against of what I've grew knowing.
