The following is a student draft. It may contain errors. Two weeks before I started high school, my mother announced we would be

moving . . . to an entirely different city, halfway across the country! Needless to say, I was horrified. I had already arranged for a way to avoid taking the bus carpooling with my friend Kwe and had signed up for all my classes and extracurricular activities. I was certain this new school wouldn't have nearly as many options, and I knew there was no way I was going to be able to set up a new carpool with only a few days to meet new people. I would be moving away. I wondered, what would this new city be like; what would the people be like; what would people do with their time? I just couldn't fathom a life outside of the one I knew and so I began to worry about whether I would be able to fit in. These were the thoughts that haunted me for the next fourteen days, as we packed all our possessions and loaded them into the moving truck; as we drove two thousand miles across the country; as we settled into our new apartment; and then, as I stood staring at the massive glass doors that led into the new school I would begin the next day. But as I stood there, hesitant to take another step into this unknown world, I realized something: things are never as bad as I think they will be. 4 Read the first sentence from paragraph 2. I would be moving away. What is the best way to revise the sentence to add detail and clarify the author's thoughts? A. Everyone knows moving is difficult, but I felt certain it would be worse for me than anyone. B. Moving was the worst possible thing to have happened to me since I was a young child, and I remember my mother telling me I would have to go to a new elementary school. C. Moving was my mother's idea, so I decided that I would not help pack the house or do anything else to prepare for the move. D. More importantly, though, was the fact that I would be leaving everyone and everything I had ever known to move to a place I had never even heard of.

Do you agree with the UNESCO declaration statements that “All language communities have equal rights” and “Everyone has the righ
Flura [38]

We agree with the UNESCO declaration because it allows all people to freely develop their culture and customs throughout their lives, regardless of the context in which they develop.

What is a language?

A language is a term to refer to a system of verbal or gestural communication, typical of a human society. There are many languages and dialects in the world that are associated with different human societies.

For example, most of South America speaks Spanish because it was a colony of Spain from the 15th to the 19th century. On the other hand, English is spoken in the United States because it was a colony of Great Britain from the 16th to the 19th century.

Language is an aspect of the culture of the different human societies. When a person learns a new language he must learn some characteristic cultural aspects of the society that speaks that language to truly understand many of its expressions.

Therefore, we agree with the declarations of UNESCO because this allows individuals to develop their culture freely regardless of the context in which they develop and customs and culture can transcend time.
