Solve the following system graphically 2x-y=-1 x+y=-2

First simplify the equations: y=2x+1 and y=-x-2

Second you have to graph these new, simplified equations

The equations will intersect at (-1, -1)

The answers for x and y are both -1

You can go back and plug -1 in for x and y and solve but I checked for you, take my word for it.
