The Nazi created propaganda films to engender hatred for Jews; one of such was the film  "The Eternal Jew".  The Orthodox Jews were shown with  their flowing beards and putting on kaftans. They referred to them as vermin, rats, and pests. They compared the movement of the Jews to that  of rodents- a very demeaning presentation.

Orthodox Jews were depicted as the people who killed Jesus Christ. These ideas about Jews were spread even in schools through Mathematics classes. They taught kids to hate the Jews consistently.

This Nazi propaganda against the Jews proved effective because most people developed a strong resentment against anyone who seemed to be a Jew.
