Answer: The cost of every 1 video game rented.

Step-by-step explanation:

In the given graph there is two quantities labelled on the graph as "Video games rented" and "Cost (dollars)" .

Since the cost ( in dollars) is dependent on the the number of video games rented.

Therefore, the rate of change in the given situation represents the cost of every 1 video game rented as for each new game rented the cost will increases by the cost of that game.

Hence, The right answer is "The cost of every 1 video game rented".

Hey there!

So, from looking at this question, the bottom or the (x-axis) is how \ many \ games \ were \ rented. So, this would mean that, the (y-axis) would be (how much) each game would cost.

So, based from the option's listed above, the correct answer to this question would actually be (<span>The cost of every 1 video game rented). This would be the main and the key point of this graph, how much each game would be.

You correct answer would be . . . . . .

</span>\boxed{\boxed{The \ cost \ of \ every \ 1 \ video \ game \ rented}}
<span>
Hope this helps.

Answer:

(y+2)=3/4(x+6) or (y-4)=3/4(x-2)

Step-by-step explanation:

Point-slope form : (y-y1)=m(x-x1)

slope = m =(y2 - y1)/(x2 -x1)

Point 1 (-6,-2), so x1= - 6, y1= -2

Point 2 (2, 4), so x2 = 2, y2 = 4

m=(4-(-2))/(2-(-6)) = 6/8 = 3/4

Point-slope form : (y-y1)=3/4(x-x1)

We can use any point. If we use point 1 we get

Point-slope form : (y+2)=3/4(x+6).

If we use point 2 we get

(y-4)=3/4(x-2)

Solve the system of equations
Solnce55 [7]

Hey, there!!

Given that:

y = 3x.........(i)

y =  {x}^{2}  + 3x - 16.......(ii)

Putting the value of y in equation (ii)

{3x}^{} =  {x}^{2}  + 3x - 16

{x }^{2}  - 16=0

( {x)}^{2}  -  {4}^{2}  = 0

(x + 4)(x - 4) = 0

Therefore,

Either Or

(x+4)=0 (x-4)=0

x= -4 x= 4

so, x= (+ -)4

And if you wanna get value of y, just keep value of x in equation (i).

y= 3x

y= (3×4) or (3×-4)

y= 12 or -12

{As it is the quadratic equation it has two values. }

70 POINTS SHOW WORK

Area of triangle = 1/2 x base x height

so old triangle we have  1/2 x b x h = 48

new triangle has base 3 times as long and height is half as long
 so we would get:

1/2 x (3B) x (1/2H) = area

rewrite as 1/2 x 3/2 x b x H = area

divide by original are os 1/2 x b x h and you end up with 3/2

so new area = 3/2 x old area

new area = 3/2 * 48 = 72 square inches
