Which poetic device did the 14th century poets rely upon to make their verses easy to memorize ?
IgorLugansk [536]

The answer is alliteration.

14th century poets used the repetition of the first letter in a series of consecutive words or related phrases to make their writing easier to remember.  By repeating a sound, it is expected that the brain will catch onto the verses more easily, thus making it easier to remember.
