The best answer to the question that is being presented above would be the phrase 'is successful in battle'. The Disinherited Knight can be described as a chivalric hero because he was able to win battles. Engaging in trickery, being envied, and flaunting his power cannot be described as 'chivalry'.

You have read "The Story of the Old Man Who Made Withered Trees to Flower." What did you learn about the elements of narratives?
Studentka2010 [4]

Answer:

The characters include the wicked old man, the nice old man, the nice old man's wife, and maybe the dog. The story takes place in a castle and on a farm, I think it takes place back when there were still castles with kings and queens. The stories point of view is third person omniscient because it uses words like he, she, and we don't know any of the character's thoughts.

(Sorry I could not give you an answer quicker and this might sound bad because I'm only in middle school)

Amy tan uses this description to show that she
goldenfox [79]

Answer:

1) wants to hide her true feelings about Robert.

Explanation:

In the story, Amy Tan is very much in love with Robert. That is why, when he and his family arrive for the Christmas dinner, she is trying hard to hide her feelings. She does this by ignoring Robert, and pretending she is better than him by acting as if he is "not worthy of existence".

This is the tactic of the opposite sometimes used by people when they like someone - they will act very disinterested in order to draw their attention and seem cool.
