Also, the tale may be very relatable and sensible to teenagers my/our age. And lastly, I just like the coronary heart of the tale that the arena is dark, and mild is precious.

The assignment was originally due on Tuesday. However, the instructor changed the due date to Thursday.
defon
The option that correctly combines the two sentences is option B. The assignment was originally due on Tuesday; however, the instructor changed to due date to Thursday. We can easily combine the two sentences with the use of the punctuation mark semicolon. This is used to indicate that there are two independent clauses in one sentence.

Which of the following sentences uses the word improbable correctly?
r-ruslan [8.4K]

Answer:

The sentence that uses the word improbable correctly is:

C. It is highly improbable that James will make it to class today; he has food poisoning.

Explanation:

"Improbable" is an adjective that means something is not likely to happen or to be true. But, in options A and B, "improbable" was used as a noun and as a verb, respectively. It also makes no sense to use "improbable" in the contexts given in each sentence. We can, thus, eliminate both options. Letter C, however, is correct. The word is used as it is supposed to, and it makes sense when inserted in the context - it is very unlikely that James will make it to class today.
