Answer:

On a Saturday, Wanda goes to the local farmers’ market to take a break from baking treats. While she is there, she sees a vendor with customers crowded around the stall. When she asks someone what all the excitement is about, a customer informs her that a woman who sells gourmet dog treats has just arrived, and if Wanda doesn’t get in line early, the woman will sell out. The customer goes on to tell Wanda that this vendor always sells out, and that since she has started buying these treats for her dogs, her dogs seem much healthier and happier. Wanda waits in line with the other customers.

When it is Wanda’s turn, she engages the woman in conversation about the ingredients in her treats and her process for making them. The woman is very nice and actually shares a recipe with Wanda for a pumpkin peanut butter dog biscuit that has always been one of her best-selling items. Wanda purchases one of each treat the woman is selling and takes the recipe when it is offered to her, never mentioning that she is in the same business. She plans to “reverse engineer” the treats and test the new recipe out that very day.

Igoryamba

Answer:

Total Production for the month of November shall be = 26,800 units

Explanation:

Sales for the month shall be as follows:

October = 28,000

November = 25,000

December = 31,000

It is provided that inventory of finished goods at month end = 30% of next month's sales.

Thus Opening Inventory of November = 30% of sales

= 25,000 \times 30% = 7,500 units

Total Production for the month shall be = Sales for the month - Opening Inventory + Closing inventory to be maintained.

Sales for the month = 25,000

Opening Inventory = 7,500

Closing Inventory to be maintained = 31,000 \times 30% = 9,300

Thus, Total Production for the month of November shall be = 25,000 - 7,500 + 9,300 = 26,800 units

KBJ has total assets of $613,00. There are 21,000 shares of stack outstanding with a market value of $13 a share. The firm has a
olga nikolaevna [1]

Answer:

6.65

Explanation:

Firstly, we need to calculate company revenue as below;

Asset turnover  = Company revenue/Company Asset => Company revenue =  Company Asset x Asset turnover = 613,000 x 1.08 = 662,040.

Next, we will calulate company net income as below:

Net profit margin = Net income/Company revenue => Net income = Net profit margin x Company revenue = 6.2% x 662,040 = 41,046.48.

Finally, price-earnings ratio is calulated as below:

Price-earnings ratio = Stock price/Earning per share = 13/(41,046.48/21,000) = 6.65

The average starting salary for this year's graduates at a large Texan university is $45,000, with a standard deviation of $4,00
4vir4ik [10]

Answer:

The probability that a randomly selected graduate will have a starting salary of $50,000 or more is 10.56%

Explanation:

The formula for calculating a z-score is:

Z=\frac{x-μ}{σ}

Where:

x=Score in this case is $50,000

μ=Mean or average of the salary: $45,000

σ= standard deviation of $4,000.

Z=\frac{50000-45000}{4000}

Z= 1.25

This value has an associated probability of 0.8944= 89.44%, this means 89.44% of graduates will have a starting salary of $50,000 or less.

But if we want to know the probability that the graduate has a salary of $50,000 or more, taking into account a population of 100%=1

1-0.8944= 0.1056

Which represents that 10.56% of population of graduates will earn $50,000 or  more.
