Answer:

On a Saturday, Wanda goes to the local farmers’ market to take a break from baking treats. While she is there, she sees a vendor with customers crowded around the stall. When she asks someone what all the excitement is about, a customer informs her that a woman who sells gourmet dog treats has just arrived, and if Wanda doesn’t get in line early, the woman will sell out. The customer goes on to tell Wanda that this vendor always sells out, and that since she has started buying these treats for her dogs, her dogs seem much healthier and happier. Wanda waits in line with the other customers.

When it is Wanda’s turn, she engages the woman in conversation about the ingredients in her treats and her process for making them. The woman is very nice and actually shares a recipe with Wanda for a pumpkin peanut butter dog biscuit that has always been one of her best-selling items. Wanda purchases one of each treat the woman is selling and takes the recipe when it is offered to her, never mentioning that she is in the same business. She plans to “reverse engineer” the treats and test the new recipe out that very day.

Community hospital of the west is experiencing changes occurring throughout the facility, many of the employees are concerned ab
Monica [59]

Answer:

in order to support the employees during the transitional phase of change, the hospital could try helping the employees get used to the new changes by maybe adding facilities that they are used to or maybe arrange some colleagues that the employees are familiar with to work with them, so they can get used to the new things with some support by their side.

consequences the hospital May face if they don't support their employees to make them feel more comfortable in their workplace, many of their workers May quit and it would be hard to find new employees and it would be time-consuming to teach the new employees all over again.

another consequence is that if their employees are the ones that make a lot of people want to go to their Hospital community, then losing them may make the people that go to the hospital community to not want to return again and maybe leave a bad review, since the help support care and treatment probably isn't the same.

Investors require a return of 13 percent on the stock for the first three years, a return of 11 percent for the next three years
lianna [129]

Complete Question:

BenchMark, Inc., just paid a dividend of $3.45 on its stock. The growth rate in dividends is expected to be a constant 5 percent per year indefinitely. Investors require a return of 13 percent on the stock for the first three years, a return of 11 percent for the next three years, and then a return of 9 percent thereafter. What is the current share price for the stock.

Answer:

BenchMark, Inc.

The current share price for the stock is:

$43.13

Explanation:

a) Data and Calculations:

Dividend per share = $3.45

Growth rate = 5%

Investors' required rate of return = 13%

Stock value = Dividend per share / (Required Rate of Return – Dividend Growth Rate)

= $3.45/(0.13 - 0.05)

= $43.13

b) We can calculate BenchMark's current share price, by dividing the dividend per share by the investors' required rate of return after subtracting the growth rate from the required rate of return.
