Citrus2011 [14]
Britain and the US believed that Unions would be bad for the economy  - this is the correct answer.

Actually, the answer that Unions would work towards reducing working hours is also correct, but it's not the whole reason: and it's also a part of why they believed Union would be bad for the economy. The Louisiana Purchase raised a serious question about the meaning of the Constitution. Do you think it was a good thing to inte
expeople1 [14]

Answer:

Yes and no (Pick either one)

Explanation:

In a federalist view, it was awesome! They had a sense of loosely interpreting the constitution. In the democratic-republican view though, it was okay. They strictly followed the constitution and thought the federal government should not have much power, and might have not favored it as much.

What type of relationship does the Cook Islands have with New Zealand, and how does it benefit from this relationship?
Natali [406]

Answer:

The British government laid claim to the Cook Islands. The British did not want the French to take the islands so  New Zealand took control of the southern islands and the northern islands. The government of New Zealand had complete control of the islands until the 1960s. The Cook Islands began to govern themselves but New Zealand and the cook islands created a free association relationship ,

The people from the Cook Islands can live and work in New Zealand. Cook island depend on New Zealand to survive. The Cook Islands do not have many natural resources. They do not have resources to export to make money. Instead most of the things the people need to live have to be imported. Many of those imports come from New Zealand.
