The Good Neighbor Policy was the foreign policy of the administration of the United States President Franklen Roosevelt towards Latin America. Although the policy was implemented by the Roosevelt administration, President Woodrow Wilson had previously used the term—but subsequently went on to invade Mexico. Senator Henry Clay had coined the term Good Neighbor in the previous century.

He was killed by a white policeman named Zimmerman, Martin was visiting his relatives, and Zimmerman was patrolling the area, Zimmerman then shot Martin claiming that "Martin was armed", Zimmerman was charged with murder, but found not guilty. After this event Zyahna considered herself a true activist. Zyahna became a extremely well known activist and she was invited in speak on CNN and she got articles published on her. She also received rewards for her community.
