What’s the purpose of understanding the judicial branch? What are some limits placed on the power of the judicial branch?

Answer:

The judicial branch comprises of state and federal courts, as well as the judges who are in these courts. The judicial branch can interpret the laws, such as declaring amendments or laws trying to be passed as unconstitutional. There are limits to the judicial branch though, as they can interpret the laws they cannot enforce them. Meaning the Supreme Court also cannot have a jury at impeachment.
