Answer:

The basic outfit of traditional Inuit clothing consisted of a parka, pants, mittens, inner footwear, and outer boots, historically made from animal hide and fur. The Inuit are a group of culturally related indigenous peoples inhabiting the Arctic areas of the United States, Canada, and Greenland. The most common sources of hide were caribou, seals, and seabirds, although other animals were used when available. The production of warm, durable clothing was a survival skill, passed down from adult women to girls. Preparation of clothing was an intensive, weeks-long process that occurred on a yearly cycle following established hunting seasons. Inuit clothing resembles in many ways the traditional garb of the indigenous peoples of Alaska, Siberia and the Russian Far East. There is archaeological evidence of similar clothing from Siberia that dates from 22,000 BCE, and in northern Canada and Greenland as early as 2500 BCE.

Answer:

The whole plot of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty is that the main character has weird flashbacks to past events or dreams. The reader or viewer is never sure whether the scene is real or imagined due to the spontaneity of these reflections/flashbacks. It makes for an interesting movie and an interesting story when these responses are elaborately fantasized, as Thurber did.

Literature is meant to be read out loud. Poetry and plays are examples. Poetry and plays often come fully alive only when read out loud, even if this means people must read them out loud when alone. In short, to fully appreciate poetry and plays, people should perform them. Plays and other performance arts are discussed in a later chapter. Poetry is discussed in this chapter along with other nonperformance literature such as stories and creative nonfiction because most of these forms of literature primarily are experienced by reading them when one is alone.
