1. What is an art critique?
•simple: an evaluation of the artwork.
•Google: is an oral or written discussion strategy used to analyze, describe, and interpret works of art.
•There are four different stages of art criticism, which will be covered in later questions.

2.In an art critique, what is the "describe" step? What is included in this step of the art critique?
•The describe step is basically telling what you see in the art piece. This includes foreground, middle ground, background etc. But do not judge the art, as this will take place later.

3. What is the "analyze" step of an art critique? What would you include in this step?
•Looking for and paying attention to the different techniques an artist uses in their art pieces, such as line, shape, texture, etc. but not form, as it is a 3d element.
•Also the way these elements are organizes, such as balance and unity.

4. What is the "interpret" step of an art critique? What would you include in this step?
•This stage requires one to be creative and imaginative, and is more open to different ideas than other stages seeing as the beauty is "In the eye of the beholder."
• list the feelings one gets from looking at the artwork.

5. What is the "evaluate" step of an art critique? What would you include in this step?
• Deciding whether the work was overall successful and if the artist was also successful in conveying their emotions through the piece.
• One should used evidence from other steps to come to a conclusion here.
