Answer:

Operation Desert Storm  took place during the Persian Gulf War, and it was an attack in response to Iraq's invasion of Kuwait.

Iran-Iraq War, as the name suggest, was a war between Iran and Iraq. Iraq wanted to take advantage of the recent Iranian Revolution to replace Iran as the dominant state in Persian Gulf. In this period Iran violated sanctions against them, that intended to prevent them from getting weapons such as aircraft and tanks. So Iran-Iraq War is related to violation of sanctions.

The Kurdish Genocide was an Iraqi attack with an estimated 50,000 to 200,000  people death toll. It took place during the 2003 Iraq War.

How did the u.s intervene mexico
harkovskaia [24]

Answer:

irst supporting and then repudiating Mexican regimes during the period 1910-1920.[1]

Explanation:

The United States involvement in the Mexican Revolution was varied and seemingly contradictory, first supporting and then repudiating Mexican regimes during the period 1910-1920.[1] For both economic and political reasons, the U.S. government generally supported those who occupied the seats of power, whether they held that power legitimately or not. A clear exception was the French Intervention in Mexico, when the U.S. supported the beleaguered liberal government of Benito Juárez at the time of the American Civil War (1861-1865). Prior to Woodrow Wilson's inauguration on March 4, 1913, the U.S. Government focused on just warning the Mexican military that decisive action from the U.S. military would take place if lives and property of U.S. nationals living in the country were endangered.[2] President William Howard Taft sent more troops to the US-Mexico border but did not allow them to intervene in the conflict,[3][4] a move which Congress opposed.[4] Twice during the Revolution, the U.S. sent troops into Mexico.

Why were the siege of Vicksburg and the battle of Gettysburg crucial to the outcome of the war?
ira [324]
The Siege of Vicksburg was important to the Union troops because they were able to take control of the Mississippi River. This allowed the Union troops to cut the Confederacy in half and allowed the Union to cut of supplies/resources to Confederate states.

The Battle of Gettysburg was an important Union win because this was the last time in the Civil War that the Confederate troops truly invaded the North. After this battle they did not invade any state north of Pennsylvania.

Which ks the correct description of revolution and one of its outcomes
kogti [31]

I would have to guess that the correct description of revolution is where the people are not getting what the need or deserve so the people revolt toward the government, possibly overthrowing it, and create the government with its wants and needs. The outcome is the creation of the new government or monarchy with what the people want.
