Work out the volume of the prism (answer in 1 decimal place)
Artyom0805 [142]

Answer:

Volume of the Prism =204 cm^3

Step-by-step explanation:

Volume of the right triangular prism= \frac{1}{2}*Length*Width*Height

Length=8.5 cm

Width= 6 cm

Height= 8 cm

Putting the values in the formula:

Volume of the prism :

                             \frac{1}{2}*8.5*6*8\\\\=\frac{1}{2}*8.5*48\\\\ =\frac{1}{2} *408\\\\=204cm^3

The volume of the Prism is 204 cm^3

a rocket is 1 mile above thw earth in 30 seconds and 5 miles above the earth in 2.5 minutes what is the rockets rate of change i
Veronika [31]
Rate of Change:

At 1 mile in 30 seconds.
At  5 miles in 2.5 minutes.  2.5 minutes = 2.5*60 = 150 seconds.

Rate of change =   Change in height / Change in time

                            =   (h₂-h₁)/(t₂-t₁)

                            =   (5 -1) /(150 -30) = 4/120 = (1/30) = 0.0333 miles per second.

                             = (1/30) miles per second or 0.0333 miles per second.

To have the answer in miles per minute.

         (1/30) miles per second = (1/30) miles/second.

60 seconds = 1minute
1 second = (1/60) minute.

(1/30) miles/second  =  (1/30) miles/(1/60)minute
                                   =   (1/30) *60 miles / minute
                                   =    2 miles per minute.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's say you have question A and question B. You could have incorrect on A, and incorrect on B. Or, you could have incorrect on A, but a correct on B. Or, you could have an incorrect on B, but a correct on A. Or, both could be correct. <em><u>Since there are 4 different possibilities, the actual probability is 1/4.</u></em>
