The story has both internal and external conflict

Explanation:

  • A girl named Magot moves to venus and is bullied by the other children. The children in venus have not seen the sun as it was always raining in the venus.
  • When she tries to tell them about the sun, it looks like a penny, they make fun of her. The conflict between Magot and the children is external and it is due to jealousy.
  • The girl also undergoes internal conflict as they shut her in the room, when the sun is about to set. This makes her feel that the children in the earth are better than the children in venus.
