Answer:

1) She walked to the woods on a dark and stormy night, she had a really bad feeling about this. This was the night her future was about to be changed forever. If only she listened to her gut...

2) She walks into the woods as the rain pours down on her, it's pitch black and she has no idea where she's going, or what is waiting for her at the end of the trail...

3) She will walk into the woods as rain pours down at her, the sky will be pitch black as she struggles to find her way. She will tremble with fear as she walks to the end of the trail.

What you gotta do:

Choose the paragraph you like the best for the last question.

the story:

The story is about <u>A girl</u><u><em>(or guy if you want to change pronouns)</em></u><u> who is lost on a dark and stormy night, she enters a trail hoping to find a way out as she trembles with fear. She has a really bad feeling about this but still continues on the path. At the end of the trail, an old lady offers to help but little does she know the old lady is actually a kidnapper. the old lady takes the girl to her home and gives her a room to stay in. the girl looks around in the room when she stumbles across a dead body under the bed. suddenly she realizes this is not you sweet old lady but really the devil in disguise. The girl can't escape because the window is locked so later that night she puts the body on top of the bed making it a decoy. she waits under the bed. sure enough, the lady is back and viciously stabs the dead body multiple times. when the lady leaves the girl runs out of the house lucky and glad to make it out alive. She walks down the main road to find a bustling city, she finds a police station and explains what happens, the next day they arrest the old lady and return her[the girl] home.</u>

You can change the pronouns and add a name, also I know the ending is a little dry.. you can edit it all to your liking

Debora [2.8K]

"Letter from Birmingham Jail" is an open letter  written on April 16th, 1963 by Martin Luther King Jr. The letter defends the strategy of nonviolent resistance to racism. While Martin Luther King spent 8 days sentence in jail he wrote the letter to not only address the injustice of his arrest, but to only make a statement on the incompetence of the church, the brutality of the police,  but also how despite all of these injustices he is put under, he still writes diplomatically because of his belief of nonviolent resistance.

It is because of these arguments that the statement that identifies the main idea from the excerpt correctly is <u><em>"I'm sorry that I can't join you in your praise for the police department."</em></u> Because it summarizes how the police department treated with injustice the black community but while keeping his diplomacy.

What is the order of events in Christmas carol? Pls helppppp
Lerok [7]

Answer:

1. Scrooge hates Christmas, happiness, generosity, and puppies probably.

2. He yells at his clerk for getting Christmas Day off with pay, tells off his nephew for inviting him to dinner, and chases away a guy soliciting charity.

3. That night, he goes home and hallucinates that his doorknocker is the head of his dead partner. After dinner, Marley's ghost shows up to tell him to change and warns of three more ghosts.

4. First is the Ghost of Christmas Past, who is a weird old man child.

5. The ghost takes Scrooge way back in the day, to see himself as a small sad little boy all alone at boarding school at Christmas, as an older boy whose sister fetches him from school with the cryptic info that their dad is all better now, as an apprentice at a Christmas party at Fezziwig's house, and as a young man whose fiancée breaks the engagement off because she knows that Scrooge is already married… to money.

6. Real-time Scrooge is super depressed by these memories and starts to think that he needs to be better to the people in his life.

7. Second, we have the Ghost of Christmas Present—basically a half-drunk frat guy.

8. Christmas Present is at first kind of anonymous, compared to Christmas Past.

9. Scrooge sees a lot of scenes of people really doing it up Christmas-style all over the country.

10. Then, the ghost goes in for the emotional kill—we see the house of the poor Cratchit family, who make up in love what they lack in money. After some more random people's Christmases, Scrooge sees a really fun party at his nephew's house.

11. The last visitor is the terrifying phantom of the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come.

12. Scrooge sees a bunch of business dudes talking very lightly about someone who died and whom they clearly don't give a darn about, some servants pawn a bunch of stuff stolen from a dead guy whom no one was protecting, and a dead body with no mourners.

13. Oh, and he sees the Cratchits who are overwhelmed by the death of Tiny Tim and the fact that the other kids have to work some horrible jobs.

14. Finally, in a graveyard, the phantom shows Scrooge his own grave. Scrooge freaks out and begs for another chance to fix his life.

15. He wakes up in his own bed, on Christmas Day. Quickly, he orders a giant turkey for the Cratchits, donates money to charity, and goes off to Fred's house for the party.

16. And he becomes a totally upstanding member of the community forever afterwards.

(I noticed there are more events listed above, you might have to narrow that down. Other than that I hope this helps!)
