Explanation: And we see that when he looks at his own reflection he instantly falls in love killing himself!! Echo is in love with Narcissus but he does not love her the same way as he does for himself and instead dies after seeing himself and falling in love. 3.

Difference between love and infatuation: love is "a warm attachment, enthusiasm, or devotion to another person," while infatuation is "a feeling of foolish or obsessively strong love for, admiration for, or interest in someone or something."
