It could be possible to enumerate different goals of the Farmer Alliance, for example, the government was able to control the business to protect farmers, the railroads. It also increased the money supply and farmer´s political power. What is more, it created cooperatives to withhold crops and raise prices on good.

Native Americans
People, like the Native Americans, would see this event as a catastrophe since Columbus and his men slaughtered many Native Americans during his time in the Americas. He also discriminated against the Native Americans. This would lead to the harsh treatment of Native Americans for generations.
Colonists
Others would argue that the voyage was a huge accomplishment. This was the first time that people from the east side of the world ventured into the west side. This would lead to many great things like the creation of the United States. People to this day celebrate this voyage with a national holiday, Columbus Day.
