They can all affect the heart and lungs . If present while starting a new exercise regime these conditions can cause these organs to fail if the regime is too strenuous for you.
The way to keep your plate not overflowing (aka not overeating/healthy portion sizes is is to use a food pyramid.
Your family can encourage you in your new diet and maybe even eat some of the same foods as you. If they aren't supportive of your choice to eat healthier than it will be very hard to do so since your parents are the ones paying for your food.
