its actually pretty disrespectful, because the teacher is losing their focus, and drawing more attention to you, and they need to do their "job" aka teach the class, not discipline the class. the teacher usually gets quite annoyed and distracted and other people start paying attention to you not the teacher if you keep talking.. so thats why the teacher hates when pupils dont listen to them. if i were you, i'd follow your guts .
