Experiments on the positive phototropic response of plants indicate that ______. A. light destroys auxin B. auxin moves down the
artcher [175]

The answer is auxin can move to the shady side of the stem.

Phototropism is a reaction to environmental factors. It is a plant's response to sunlight in the form of movement. In plants, phototropism is very prevalent. In actuality, it is necessary for plant growth. Other plant movements also occur in response to touch, water, gravity, and other factors. Phototropism was discovered due to well-known experiments by Charles Darwin and Boysen Jensen.

There are two types of phototropism:

  • Positive phototropism
  • Negative phototropism.

If the heart becomes damaged or weakened, how will this affect the body’s systems?
jek_recluse [69]
Think of blood as a gas/ fuel for the car ( your body). If there is no fuel, there's no movement (dead) so when the fuel tank is damaged the car won't function properly.
So if the heart becomes damaged, or weakened it would start making blood clots and damage the organs that need blood to function properly. The circulatory system wouldn't function properly and because other organs depend on the circulatory system it would cause a chain reaction, affecting other body systems. <span />
