The purpose of the expository essay is to explain a topic in a logical and straightforward manner. Without bells and whistles, expository essays present a fair and balanced analysis of a subject based on facts, with no references to the writer's opinions or emotions

It is like a research paper

meriva

Answer:

C. Dr. Ferguson calms the distresses of Kennedy and Joe, and they are able to enjoy the journey under the doctor's adept navigational skills and travel wisdom.

Explanation:

The characters in the passage Five Weeks in a Balloon are three men who travel across Africa with the aid of a hydrogen-powered balloon. Their discussion during the trip was quite lively. Dr. Ferguson controlled the aircraft. When Kennedy also suffered a fever, the doctor reassured him that he would be fine in some time and he did recover from his fever in a short while.

Joe was in an exciting spirit as they traveled and Dr. Ferguson because of his travel wisdom told Kennedy that they could not touch the breakers. He made his statements as a person with insight.

Help me ASAP!!!!! I need this right now
Soloha48 [4]

After the City Council Vote ends, we leave, and we walk out of the courtroom. We go back to the little taco truck and yet again we start cooking. We were lucky to have the judge not take the taco truck away from us and now we are able to keep on cooking and make extra money. Every once in a while we will get a customer but, it's not quite just like the last time. Now it feels like it's a privilege to be able to cook and make the tacos, instead of something that we just do. Some of the customers are nice and tip extra, but even that feels even better than the last time. The days are calm and the money we earn seems to become an even larger amount per day. One day we have someone paying five dollars for a simple taco and then the next day we have someone recommending that we increase the prices because they think the tacos are good. Things really turned out well for us after the Voting.

Please help!!!!!!! The Cherry Orchard is A Comedy in Four Acts. Anton Chekhov famously disagreed with the plays first director,
Juliette [100K]

Anton Chekhov conceived of this play, which turned out to be his last, as a comedy, designating it “A Comedy in Four Acts” and even emphasizing to the Moscow Art Theatre that the last act should be “merry and frivolous.” He suggested that some portions were even farcical. Nevertheless, most interpretations and theatrical productions have emphasized its tragic aspects. It is understandable why the playwright’s intentions have been largely disregarded; the subject is a serious and depressing one including the family’s loss of their ancestral home and removal from it and other sad developments as well. The destruction of the orchard also represents the destruction of illusions—sad, to be sure, but perhaps hopeful.

Thus, as the inevitable change in society with the dawning of the 20th Century comes, the play represents this time period and portrays an end of an aristocratic era with both tragic and comic elements. The play is best characterized as a tragicomedy.
