Hello! If you do one of those thing. Microsoft Word will create a number list, because putting in a ".", "-", or a ")", is literally how number lists are formatted. Number lists are very helpful, especially if you're writing questions or trying to list some things in order.

How would life be different if there were suddenly no more tools on earth? Explain in several sentences giving examples.
Fittoniya [83]
We wouldn’t have the resources we need to get through life such as cooking food, clothing for when we get cold, weapons to protect ourselves, and generally things to keep us alive. If we didn’t have fire we wouldn’t be able to stay warm, and healthy. If we didn’t have weapons like steel, iron, wood, we couldn’t make those things in to self defense mechanisms.

Read this excerpt from the end of paragraph 1 of Maureen Daly's “Sixteen” and answer the question.
jonny [76]

The correct answer would be option C: "feels slightly foolish about the events that occur", this due to the way the excerpt is written, since, it seems the author wanted to let the readers know that the narrator isn't stupid, so that they keep that in mind, when they read about a foolish thing said narrator did. If the narrator did something dumb, then option A and B would be discarded, as would option D.
