the first example of man vs nature in huckleberry Finn is when after jim and Huckleberry escape a town. Jim predicts that a storm is coming, two days later it does and they end up in a flood.

The tone the author was trying to give was very solemn and sad because the author is explaining that Prometheus is so worried about the future while his brother is so focused on the past and many people know that if you are constantly worried about the future or constantly thinking about things you should’ve done in the past, it can ruin the moment for you.
