The west purchased luxury goods from the east but had nothing to offer in exchange. To make up for the lack of money, the government began producing more coins with less silver content. Political Instability:
The civil war accelerated the empire into anarchy, and more than 20 men considered the dominion to the extent of only 75 years, normally after the killing of their ancestors.
