The U.S. failed to get involved in Rwanda when Tutsi people were being killed (C).

Clinton's administration knew about what was happening in Rwanda, but buried the information to justify their inaction. The administration was worried about getting sucked into fighting like they did in Somalia. They also seemed not to take too much interest in Rwanda as it was a small African country with no minerals or strategic advantage to the United States.
