propaganda is a form of manipulation used to put poleople against another person, country, politician etc. during WWI the french government would put up posters that would have a negative message about the germans. the posters would also contain words like "huns" (a deragitory term for germans) the point of these posters was to turn french citizens against the germans and gain a following of people to get behind the war.
