Why are so many Hindu Gods depicted blue in color or as animals?ツ

Answer:

\\ \\

Blue is the colour of the Sky and the Sea - both of which are actually colourless. Blue signifies the vast expanse of space which pervades the universe and in which the Universe has its being.

VISHNU means the “all-pervading consciousness” and therefore his characteristic colour should be blue.

The connection between the Absolute known as BRAHMAN and expansive space is enunciated in the Chandogya Upanishad.

3:12:7-9: That which is (designated as) Brahman, even that is this ākāśa (space) outside the body. That which is the ākāśa outside the body, even that is the ākāśa inside the body. That which is the ākāśa inside the body, even that is this ākāśa within the (lotus of the) heart. This Brahmaan is all-filling and unchanging.

Answer:

I don't know about as animals but they are depicted as blue because

  • the actual story or the real gods are black or brown, let's just say dark
  • and people nowadays especially Indians won't see the cartoons or series or movies if the main character is dark
  • for example if you take Krishna, he is said to have the colour of dark clouds, or heavy rain clouds
  • but if they put the main character as black they won't get enough views, and so they won't get expected money

so with this explanation I guess it's clear why Indian gods are given blue colour in cartoons, serials and movies

actually this is the truth

How is Pyrrhus a foil to Hamlet?.
Juli2301 [7.4K]

In many ways, Pyrrhus is a foil to Hamlet. For example, Pyrrhus is impulsive and rash, while Hamlet is contemplative and indecisive.

What is Pyrrhus?
Pyrrhus was a Hellenistic-era Greek king and statesman. He was the Aeacid royal house's king of the Greek Molossians tribe before succeeding to the throne of Epirus. He was regarded as being one of the greatest generals in ancient times and was one of early Rome's strongest adversaries. He suffered intolerably high losses in a number of his victories, giving rise to the phrase "Pyrrhic victory." 13-year-old Pyrrhus had become king of Epirus in 306 BC, but Cassander overthrew him four years later. He participated in the Diadochi Wars before being helped by Ptolemy I Soter to retake his throne in 297 BC. In the course of what became known as the Pyrrhic War,

Additionally, Pyrrhus is vengeful and driven by a desire for revenge, while Hamlet is more concerned with justice. Finally, Pyrrhus is single-minded in his pursuit of his goals, while Hamlet is easily distracted.
