Actually, satire is an artistic genre. It can be found in literature, painting, caricature, performing arts, cinema, etc. Satire uses irony or sarcasm in order to shame and ridicule the vices, absurdities, insanities or flaws of a person, a system, a religion or a political ideology.
In my opinion, you always wait till the end and do it when you are done with everything.
The main idea is what something is mostly about. Main ideas are typically found in a literary passage. Central ideas are found in an informational text. The theme is the lesson or message that the writer wants to get across in his or her story.
