On August 1587, More than 100 English people arrived at Roanoke island, in the Americas. The island is now is part of North Carolina. The governor of the settlement, Jhon White, had to return to England and on his way back to America, a war with Spain demanded all ships be used in the battle. White returned to Roanoke but the entire settlement was gone. It disappeared at all. It still a mystery.
