Answer:

World War I played an important role in the rise of Nazism. This was due to the unemployment and miserable feelings that arose when Germany lost the war. Their people were asked to pay lots of money in reparation and damages to the winning countries. This in turn led the German people to be unhappy and wanting changes in their government and lives. At this time, a man named Adolf Hitler stepped up. He was a part of a political party called the National Socialist German Workers’ Party also called the Nazi party. And it was because of the aftermath of World War I that led to the rise of Nazism.

WW1 left Germany in a very poor state economically, providing an excellent setting for Nazism, specifically the Fascist ideaology's blaming of the ethnic peoples of Germany for Germany's downfall. The bitter sense of resentment at Germany's misery was very easily turned around into German nationalism, too, which provided the drive behind the movement.

What are primary sources important when studying historical events?
GREYUIT [131]
Because if the answer is primary, it means it was written by a person living in that time period. Basically, it makes it more credible because that author was living during the time period so knows it without it being distorted or changed.
