Why does anyone turn to terror as a tool of persuasion?
STatiana [176]

Answer:

Although terrorism has often been portrayed as low intensity warfare, it also can be visualized as a form of persuasion, one frequently ineffective due to logical fallacies. Successful persuasion is dependent on the interaction of four elements: speakers, arguments, situations, and audiences. Terrorism constitutes a type of rhetoric in which terrorist speakers communicate with media audiences, using symbolic violence as a means of argument.

Can someone please help me?? I will give brainliest! :((
Gemiola [76]

Answer:

C

Explanation:

Major military efforts were taken by Kublai Khan of the Yuan dynasty in 1274 and 1281 to conquer the Japanese archipelago after the submission of the Korean kingdom of Goryeo to vassaldom. Ultimately a failure, the invasion attempts are of macro-historical importance because they set a limit on Mongol expansion and rank as nation-defining events in the history of Japan. The invasions are referred to in many works of fiction and are the earliest events for which the word kamikaze ("divine wind") is widely used, originating in reference to the two typhoons faced by the Yuan fleets.

The invasions were one of the earliest cases of gunpowder warfare outside of China. One of the most notable technological innovations during the war was the use of explosive, hand-thrown bombs.[7]

How did the allies go about pushing the Japanese back in the pacific
svetoff [14.1K]

The Allied strategy to defeat Japan in the Pacific Ocean was a strategy called island hopping. After the attack by the Japanese on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, the American military in the Pacific was severely depleted. As a result, the Japanese were able to capture much of the central and much of the western Pacific Ocean area. Once we were able to rebuild our military, which was done much faster than most people expected, we were able to counter these Japanese attacks.
