Is an estimate considered an opinion ?

English

Answer: I would say yes. This is because an opinion is defined as "a view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge". While estimates are usually based on fact, we must realize that is not what makes up an opinion. An opinion is a view or/and judgement and an estimate is like a judgement or view about what could be the answer.
