  • These lava adapt to the same geomaterial properties i.e there crystals capture the magnetic properties on the earth, so along the ridges the stipe of ridges are uniformly narrow, and thus as we move away from the magnetic stripes becomes older and aged in structure hence these are younger near the ridges due to the continuous upwelling of lava.  
  • History of plate tectonic is can be seen through the thermodynamic decay which is a process of plates motion and evolution, where the crust is destroyed in trenches and is again formed from the mantel that is considered a molten rock.
