Answer:840 km/h divided by 60 = 14km/min

3 x 60 = 180

180 + 20 = 200 minutes total

14 x 200 = 2800km

that is a really awkward way of doing it though. really you can just do:

840 x (10/3) = 2800km

The sides of a rectangle are 3t - 2 and 5t + 7. Write an expression for the perimeter of the rectangle.
natka813 [3]
How does this have anything to do with factoring?
Perimeter of the rectangle would just be 2(3t-2)+2(5t+7)
Simplify that to get 6t-4+10t+14, then 16t+10

Which is an equation for the line with a slope of 1/3, and passes through<br> the point (–2, 1)?
worty [1.4K]

Answer:

y = (1/3)x +5/3

Step-by-step explanation:

The general equation of a line is

y = mx+b

where m is the slope and b the y-intercept

Since the slope is 1/3 we have

y = (1/3)x +b

since the line passes through (x,y) = (-2,1) this point satisfies the equation

1 = (1/3)(-2) + b ===> b = 1+2/3 ===> b = 5/3

and the equation of the line is

y = (1/3)x +5/3
