I would say that punctuation, ie a comma , would precede the block quotation to set it apart and then quotation marks would be used to show that it is a quotation, both at the beginning and end of the passage. Quotations are good to show exactly what the author quoted meant so there is no doubt and which can then be accurately commented on.
The outcome of a poorly written subject line would be that the reader wouldn't understand what he/she was reading about. This would in turn, keep the reader confused the rest of the literature and wouldn't be able to focus.
The first choice (Using a sharp knife, cut each piece of bread diagonally into two equal pieces) It gives the reader a clear and detailed visual of how he is making the food
