How does sogole's decision to help Kaddo support the theme
Kazeer [188]

Sogole's decision to help Kaddo adds to the main theme, selfish people are often left alone in difficult times, by showing that Kaddo remains selfish and reckless even in his hour of most need. Kaddo gets help when he needs it, which he didn't do before when the peasants asked him for help, but wastes the opportunity of starting over and dies.

Number four and five please
erma4kov [3.2K]
4) D

The sentence is generally saying that the specific area of land gives you shelter from a storm, which is basically safety. The word 'encloses' itself emanates safety, because basically, 'encloses' means to close over, or to surround. If you don't find that trapping, it would seem more safe than anything else, along with what the sentence itself is trying to say.

As for #5, I can't seem to view the full choices for the question. Could you maybe add another attachment, or list the other two choices there are?

Write an argumentative essay for or against using public money to maintain national landmarks, such as the gateway Arch in St. L
DanielleElmas [232]

Answer:

A conclusion that is in favour:

"Using public money to maintain national landmarks is a good policy in the sense that a national landmark is a public good: no one can be excluded from enjoying the view of a national landmark like the Arch in St. Louis for example.

Because they are public goods, national landmarks are not likely to be profitable or provided by the private sector in a free market, and for this reason, government intervention in the form of public money becomes necessary".
