Answer:
I'm actually writing this story right noow. This is just the beginning:
Explanation:
Josh ran as fast as he could away from the rapidly expanding ball of fire that consumed and burned everything in its path. The world seemed to be shrouded in smoke, and Josh could barely breathe. Yet he still ran on, until he could not run any more. He fell to his knees and hoped for the best as he waited for death to come. The fireball blasted straight through him, heading to its next victim. Strangely, Josh didn’t feel any burning sensations. “I might actually make it after all” he thinks, just before his world turns black.
When Josh finally opened his eyes, the sting made him hastily shut them again. He carefully opened his eyes once more, and screamed so loudly it could’ve woken the dead. The world he had known for 12 years, everything he remembered from the old days was charred black and falling apart. Blackened corpses were littered across of what used to be streets, and there were barely any buildings that were half of what they used to be. It smelled of burnt rubber, and Josh did the only thing that seemed proper to him. He ran. Away from all the destruction, away from the sadness, and away from his guilt. He thought back to the day of the explosion, and tried to figure out what he had done wrong. He had built the rocket correctly, he was sure of that, but… He realized that there was an employee that stepped behind the rocket and cut a wire sticking from the back. In no more than 10 seconds, the alarm started blaring, and in 5 minutes, the world turned to red and orange.
