A third party beneficiary to a contract does not hold any rights to the contract. He is not a part of the contract.

The reason why the third party beneficiary has none of such rights when it comes to the contact is due to the fact they are not the promisor, neither are they the contracts promisee.

However, the benefits that the third party beneficiary gets could be due to chance and not by right.
