Why would some colonists have considered Nathaniel Bacon a hero and others have considered him a traitor?
Hitman42 [59]

Answer:

From Quizlet:

Explanation:

In 1676, Nathaniel Bacon led a rebellion against Virginia's governor, William Berkeley. For this reason, many colonists loyal to the governor would have considered Bacon a traitor. However, Bacon led the rebellion in defense of the interests of colonial farmers. Berkeley opposed Bacon's methods against American Indians, which Bacon undertook in order to give colonists access to more land and resources. Many colonial farmers would have considered Bacon a hero for this reason.

Why citizens should support the government during war?
fredd [130]

Answer: Because in a time of war the government puts a lot of money to its troops and spends a lot of money on the war itself. If the government was backed by the people then they would most likely make greater moves that would have been kept secret from the public or just not have happened. Also if the people backed the government financially they would have more money to spend on research and weapons. I hope this makes since:)
