4. At what depth is the salinity level the lowest? *
rewona [7]

Answer:

This salinity versus depth profile is typical of the South Atlantic ocean. ... In this profile, salinity at the surface is high (evaporation at this latitude is high) and then salinity decreases until a depth of about 1,000 meters. Salinity then increases again slightly with increasing depth. The ocean around Antarctica has a low salinity of just below 34ppt, and around the Arctic it is down to 30ppt in places.

Hope this helps, have a great day/night, and stay safe!

Why do you think that people disagreed about the shape of the Earth?
faust18 [17]
There are a couple of answers to this:

A: A lot of people back then were heavily Catholic, the Catholic church claimed that the Earth was flat, while others believed the Earth was round.

B: Back then, obviously they didn't have airplanes or satellites, thus people believed the Earth was flat. The reasoning of this is because, if you were to look outside right now, the Earth does look like it could be flat. (that is because you have to be at a certain level of elevation to see the curvature of the Earth). Eventually though, people started reasoning and came to the conclusion the Earth was round. (They were proven right when aerospace technology came around.)
