In the advertisement, any technique that is used to influence human action by the alteration of visual or audible representations is called Propaganda.

There are various types of Propaganda Techniques. They are:

Beautiful People:

This propaganda technique is consists of the use of pictures of happy people, or sexually attractive people, or successful people to promote a brand.

Study the first and second pictures and you'd find that the first is uses very happy teenagers who are projected to seem to endorse or like the product.

The second picture is that of a pretty and nubile lady whose underarm is "BELOFIED".This tactic also falls under the Beautiful People technique.

Another reason that has been given for the use of happy people is that psychologists say that pictures of happy people evoke happiness in those who look at them. The more happiness is associated with the product, the more people are likely to buy.

Appeal to Authority:

This tactic always sells the notion that authoritative figures, celebrities, strong brands, or prominent figures support an idea, would buy a product, or take a course of action which the target audience is being programmed to take.

In the third picture, the authority figures being used are "Dentists" and Hygienists. So the Ad sponsors a campaign to say that people ought to purchase Oral-B because by virture of knowledge authority, the dentists and hygienists use it.

In paragraph 4, why did the
narrator spend so much time
describing the house of Usher
Pavlova-9 [17]

"The Fall of the House of Usher" is the answer to this query.

A work of gothic literature with themes of lunacy, family, loneliness, and metaphysical identities is "The Fall of the House of Usher." In "The Fall of the House of Usher" the narrator calls Usher's own artistic creations powerful, horrifying, and indecent.

This narrative has an anonymous narrator.

American author Edgar Allan Poe wrote a narrative short story titled "The Fall of the House of Usher"

Poe's nameless narrator is invited to the House of Usher by Roderick Usher in "The Fall of the House of Usher"

The narrator believes that the house's inside is equally eerie as its outside. He makes his way to the chamber where Roderick is waiting by navigating the lengthy hallways. Roderick seems paler and less animated than he used to be, the man observes. Roderick claims to the narrator that he has anxiety, terror, and heightened senses. The narrator also observes that Roderick appears to be frightened of his own home. Madeline, Roderick's sister, has fallen ill with an unknown illness—possibly catalepsy, which causes limb loss of control—that the medical professionals are unable to cure. The narrator tries to cheer Roderick up over several days.
