  2. -5 + x is a binomial containing two terms -5 and x.
  3. 32x - y is a binomial having two terms 32x and -y.
  4. 6x² + 5x - 3 is a trinomial having three terms 6x², 5x and -3.

Suppose your annual starting salary is $55,183. After working for a few years, you start to get yearly raises. If you get a 0.6%
Marianna [84]

Answer:

The salary after all the increment = $62899.0879

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given that starting annual salary = $55183

There is given that there are there are three time increment of 0.6 %

So salary after 0.6% increment of 3 times = 55183\times (1+\frac{0.6}{100})^3 = $56182.2656

After that there is other increment of 1.9 % that is 6 times

So salary after this increment = 56182.2656\times (1+\frac{1.9}{100})^6=62899.0879

So the salary after all the increment = $62899.0879

h(x)= \dfrac{1}{8} x^3 - x^2h(x)= 8 1  x 3 −x 2 h, left parenthesis, x, right parenthesis, equals, start fraction, 1, divided b
Nesterboy [21]

Answer:

\dfrac{1}{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the function h(x)=\dfrac{1}{8}x^3-x^2

The average rate of change of the function h(x) over the interval a\le x\le b can be calculated using formula

\dfrac{h(b)-h(a)}{b-a}

In your case,

a=-2,\\ \\b=2,

so the average rate of change is

\dfrac{h(2)-h(-2)}{2-(-2)}\\ \\=\dfrac{(\frac{1}{8}\cdot 2^3-2^2)-(\frac{1}{8}\cdot (-2)^3-(-2)^2)}{4}\\ \\=\dfrac{(1-4)-(-1-4)}{4}\\ \\=\dfrac{-3+5}{4}\\ \\=\dfrac{2}{4}\\ \\=\dfrac{1}{2}

An online music store offers 5 downloads for $6.25.Another online music store offers 12 downloads for $17.40.Which store offers
Anon25 [30]
Well, what you have to do is find the unit rate for each one of those prices and how you do that is by dividing each price by the downloads

so $6.25 divided by 5= $1.25

and then $17.40 divided by 12= $1.45

so that means the one with $6.25/5 downloads has a better deal!
