The above question requires a personal answer, in addition to wanting to analyze your writing ability through an essay. In that case, I can't write the essay for you, but I'll show you how to write it.

First, you must search your memory for a moment when you had to perform two laborious and long tasks with the same period of time. You must think about what this experience was like, the difficulties you had, the results that were observed, and even if you want to have the same experience again.

If you have never been through this type of situation, you should ask people you know if they have been through this and how this experience happened.

After that, you can write your essay as follows:

  • Introduction: Present the subject of the essay and the thesis statement. This tee statement can be your opinion on performing two complex and time-consuming activities at the same time.

  • Body: Write at least two paragraphs. In these paragraphs, you will tell your experience with two long and complex activities, or the experiences of other people.

  • Conclusion: Summarize the information presented, strengthen your thesis statement, and share your final thoughts on the matter.

30 MINUTES LEFT! HELP PLEASE!
julia-pushkina [17]

Answer:

B. A comparison between a whirlpool and a black hole is being made.

Explanation:

In this text, the author explains how a whirlpool works. He uses the example of a fish in order to explain this mechanism to the reader. The author describes the way the fish would have to swim in order to resist the force of the whirlpool. The author then tells us that the mechanism the whirlpool uses is similar to that of a black hole. Therefore, the items being compared are a whirlpool and a black hole.

"To Kill A Mockingbird"

Secrets are one of the central themes in the book, although they are not the most prominent theme, they are quite important, as the ending of the book relies heavily on an untrue fact and untrue story, or rather a secret, which determines the fate of one of the characters. This quote (above in your question) particularly mirrors the quote " You never really know a person until you consider things from his point of view...until you climb into his skin and walk around it." Boo Radley remains a secret from the beginning of the book until the end and this quote relates to him as Scout and Jem try to figure him out, since he is so mysterious, yet another one of the secrets present in the novel.

Which phrase can be changed when paraphrasing this text?
bezimeni [28]

Full Question:

Read the excerpt from the building of manhattan.

<em>It was a monumental task: to design the world's tallest building, create as much usable rental space as possible, plan so it could be built within 18 months, and still have a handsome building. in the end, architect william lamb worked on fifteen designs before his plan "k" was finally chosen</em>.

Which phrase can be changed when paraphrasing this text?

A) within 18 months

B) plan ‘K’

C) handsome building

D) william lamb

Answer:

The correct answer is C) handsome building

Explanation:

To paraphrase means to put forward the definition of (something written or spoken) using alternate meanings to give it greater clarity.

In the sentence above, the phrase "handsome building" is murky.

The building (in this context) can only be "<em>handsome</em>" if after it is properly constructed according to sound and generally accepted engineering requirements without losing the original design and altering the projected cost, it still meets the contractors' expectations as the <em>Worlds Tallest Building. </em>

Afterall, he who pays the piper, calls the tune.

Note that the writer communicates challenges with constraints that threatened to force the alteration of the purpose of the building which is to have the Worlds Tallest Building.

There were the constraints of Time and Purpose.

So, a rephrased sentence would look like this:

<em>It was a monumental task: to design the world's tallest building, create as much usable rental space as possible, plan so it could be built within 18 months, and still meet the objective of the Project Owner of becoming the Worlds Tallest Building. In the end, architect William Lamb worked on fifteen designs before his plan "K" was finally chosen.  </em>
