Great Britain gained control of the Suez Canal in 1875 even though it did not finance or participate in its construction. Egypt found themselves in debt so they sold their shares of the Suez Canal to Great Britain.

This is the passage that most closely resembles Nazi ideology. The passage states that the democratic government of Germany was not successful in controlling either inflation or unemployment. These were two of the reasons for the rise of Nazism. The Nazi party promised to fix these problems in a much more efficient and long-lasting manner than that of the democratic government.
