The Bill of Rights are the first 10 amendments. The role these amendments played was Human Rights.
They got support from the British and other major world powers then they settled because they found themselves as being superior because wit their color. They also had better weapons than the South Africans so they could easily defeat them.

Democracy. Democracy brought human rights and laws. For example the right to live that every human deserves to live freely without having the fear to die etc
