Trifles is a play depicting a parable and crime mystery by Susan Glaspell. The play is set in a messy and disorderly kitchen of Wrights and portrays the investigation of the death of Mr Wright by the attorney and the sheriffs.

The county attorney disapproves of Mrs Wright’s poor housekeeping.
